[ Win98: I Want to Believe it Works.]

About This Joke...

This week Microsoft released Windows 98, although this time around Bill Gates & Co. didn't buy a Rolling Stones song to promote it.

With the X-Files movie at the top of the heap this week, Microsoft missed out on a major movie/product promotional deal.

I installed an early beta of Windows 98 and it worked fine. However, at the time it was referred to as Windows 97.

Subsequent beta releases (what geeks call software prototypes) did some bizzare things to my system.

There's a credit card in one hand and a Windows 98 box in the other, I Want to Believe Windows 98 Will Work.
