York -- After US Customs Officials arrested the Teletubbies earlier
this week, there's been a flood of controversy over their arrest
ranging from police brutality to just general raging against the Machine.
And things got worse when their bail was set at half a million dollars each or a cool $2 Million to abil them all out, fans got even more outraged. Things seemed hopeless ofr the 'Tubbies. Until, that is, help came from a rather unlikely source.

The world was stunned when multi-millionaire and former Presidential contender, Steve Forbes, came out of the Teletubby closet and admitted how much he enjoyed the fab four show and their avant garde approach to kids' TV.
To those that knew Steve best, this was not a surprise. "Steve's actually a long time fan," said one close acquaintance, "He's followed their work since they were doing gigs for small 'arthouse' crowds all over the UK and Europe."
To those that remember him solely for his 1996 Presidential run, this explains that permamently etched grin on his face. "He has the same look on his face as they [the Teletubbies] do. It's freaky," said one political pundit.

Eyewitnesses also report seeing a weird "Sun Baby" thing hovering over Forbes' publishing headquarters in New York shortly after the announcement was made. Eyewitnesses report that he was laughing and smiling. The same object was seen hovering over JFK airport a tthe time of their arrest and above the Queens County courthouse when their bail was set at $500,000 each. At the time, however, the object was "having a temper tantrum" according to eye witenesses. |
