    In this hyper-connected world we live in, good communication skills are more important than ever.

    Fortunately, there’s a book and website to highlight the most common errors in English.

    Some are obvious (your/you’re), others are not so obvious (ATM machine).

    And there’s my personal favorite: “irregardless.”

    What’s wrong with “irregardless:”

    Regardless of what you have heard, “irregardless” is a redundancy. The suffix “-less” on the end of the word already makes the word negative. It doesn’t need the negative prefix “ir-” added to make it even more negative.
