Did Adobe Just %#@$ Up?

So Adobe “just” released a new terms of service for most of their creative products like Adobe Photoshop and Substance 3D and lets just say some of the new terms aren’t exactly going over well with the community. How do you feel about your work being used to train their AI? Or how about granting them a royalty free license to all of your work?

This video looks at the controversy as well as jump into the actual terms of service and policy on machine learning and see how big of a deal these changes actually are.

The crux of the matter lies in Adobe’s updated terms, which now explicitly state that the company may access users’ content through both automated and manual methods for various purposes, including content review. This revelation has understandably alarmed users, who are concerned about privacy and the potential misuse of their creative work.

At first glance, the terms seem innocuous, a necessary evil in the age of cloud computing and machine learning. Adobe argues that access to user content is essential for providing services, addressing security issues, and improving user experience.
