Christmas at the Hospital

I’ve never spent Christmas at the hospital before and I hope never to again.

My father’s condition is still the same and on this Silent Night, Holy Night he looks somewhat at peace.

The hospital is also somewhat quiet, except for the occasional helicopter arrival bringing in folks whose holiday is truly ruined.

I suppose we all need to count our blessings and be thankful for what we have and what we’ve been spared.
